PROCESS STAGE
Engineering & feasibility review
Review of geometry, material, tolerances, datum strategy and production intent before tooling.
Loading Valour Precision Casting…
Manufacturing capability
From feasibility review and tooling to chemistry verification, finishing and dispatch, each stage is designed to protect the component’s intent.
End-to-end process
Investment casting can reproduce intricate geometry, consolidate multi-part designs and reduce machining—but only when the entire route is engineered around the component.
PROCESS STAGE
Review of geometry, material, tolerances, datum strategy and production intent before tooling.
PROCESS STAGE
Tooling route planned for repeatability, wax flow, assembly and lifecycle requirements.
PROCESS STAGE
Controlled pattern production with process parameters established for the component.
PROCESS STAGE
Visual and dimensional checks before patterns move to assembly.
PROCESS STAGE
Tree design balances feeding, yield, handling and pouring requirements.
PROCESS STAGE
Refractory slurries and stucco layers create a robust precision mould.
PROCESS STAGE
Wax removal and thermal preparation ready the shell for pouring.
PROCESS STAGE
Charge make-up, melting practice and chemistry verification support material integrity.
PROCESS STAGE
Chemistry is checked against the agreed material specification.
PROCESS STAGE
Temperature and timing are managed for stable filling and soundness.
PROCESS STAGE
Shell is removed before cut-off, grinding and local finishing.
PROCESS STAGE
Surface cleaning prepares parts for inspection and downstream operations.
PROCESS STAGE
Finish routes are selected for function, appearance and downstream processing.
PROCESS STAGE
Part dimensions are assessed against approved drawings and inspection plans.
PROCESS STAGE
Visual, dimensional, traceability and documentation checks precede release.
PROCESS STAGE
Protective packing and identification support dependable delivery.
